Mobile app development by Softlance

We build mobile apps for iOS and Android — usually with React Native and Expo, so one codebase serves both stores without the app feeling like a website in a shell. Where a feature genuinely needs it, we drop to native Swift or Kotlin for that piece rather than compromising the whole app.

The parts that sink mobile projects are the ones nobody scopes: offline behaviour and sync conflicts, push notifications that survive a cold start, in-app purchases and subscription state, biometric auth, deep links, and getting through App Store and Play review. We handle all of them, including the submission itself and the privacy declarations both stores now demand.

Grami — our own AI calorie tracker, shipping on both stores — is built exactly this way, so the tooling and release pipeline we hand you are the ones we run ourselves.

What you get

Apps on both stores

Built, signed, submitted and through review, with the store listings, screenshots and privacy declarations prepared.

Offline-first data layer

The app works on the underground and reconciles cleanly when the connection comes back.

Over-the-air update pipeline

JavaScript-level fixes reach users in minutes instead of waiting days for a store review.

Crash and analytics wiring

Sentry and product analytics from the first release, so you find out about a bad build from a dashboard rather than a review.

Mobile Apps — frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to build a mobile app?

A focused app with accounts, a core workflow and a backend is a fixed-scope project quoted after discovery. Adding subscriptions, offline sync or a complex integration moves the number, which is why we scope those explicitly rather than averaging them into a day rate.

React Native or native Swift and Kotlin?

React Native for the large majority of products: one codebase, both stores, a fraction of the maintenance. Fully native is the right call for heavy real-time graphics, deep OS integration, or performance-critical camera and sensor work — and we will tell you which category you are in during discovery.

Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?

Yes, end to end — developer accounts, signing, store listings, screenshots, privacy nutrition labels and Data Safety forms, and the review back-and-forth if a reviewer pushes back.

How long until our app is live?

A first version in the stores is typically eight to twelve weeks, with TestFlight and internal-track builds in your hands from week two or three.
